North: A line following the boundaries of the State parishes adjacent to South latitude 18.25 degrees from the East Coast of Queensland to the border of Northern Territory. South: Latitude 21 degrees as far as longitude 145 degrees, then south as far as latitude 22 degrees, thence west to the boundary of the Shire of Gregory North, and thence along its boundary to latitude 23 degrees, continuing west to the border of Northern Territory. East: The coast of Queensland between latitude 18.25 degrees and latitude 21 degrees, and all the islands situated within these limits adjacent to the coast.
